A Japanese start-up is to send spacecraft to the moon in a deal signed with Elon Musk's SpaceX.
The private lunar exploration company ispace would blast a lander and rovers towards the moon on a SpaceX rocket on two separate missions.
The spaceware will first orbit the moon in mid-2020, followed by a moon landing attempt set for mid-2021.

Real-time Ride Monitoring System
In a bid to step up passenger safety, Indian cab-hailing major Ola has rolled out a real-time ride monitoring system.
'Ola Guardian,' the real-time monitoring system to strengthen ride safety of customers, has been launched as a pilot in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Pune.
The system, which is based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning tools, will go live in Delhi and Kolkata by the end of October and in other Indian cities by the end of 2018.

BSNL has signed agreement with Softbank and NTT Communications to roll out 5G and IoT products and services in India. Under the agreement, BSNL will look at solution specially for the smart cities.
As per reports, most of the BSNL competitors are still looking at monetising their 4G services and hence, leading companies have started looking at the state-run firm for 5G services roll out.

World's First Hydrogen Train
Germany rolled out the world's first hydrogen-powered train, signalling the start of a push to challenge the might of polluting diesel trains with costlier but more eco-friendly technology.
The trains are built by French TGV-maker Alstom.
Hydrogen trains are equipped with fuel cells that produce electricity through a combination of hydrogen and oxygen, a process that leaves steam and water as the only emissions.
