India and Sri Lanka are co-hosting the 13th edition of the Women's Cricket World Cup, which is taking place from September 30 to November 2, 2025.
With India and Sri Lanka as joint hosts of the tournament, six more teams are competing for the prestigious trophy, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
The matches of the Women's Cricket World Cup will be held in India's five major stadiums and Sri Lanka's R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Ravichandran Ashwin Becomes First Ex-India International to Play in the BBL, Joins 2015-16 Champions
Ravichandran Ashwin, in September 2025, signed with Sydney Thunder for BBL 15, and became the first male Indian player to join a Big Bash League club. The 39-year-old off-spinner, who retired from international cricket last year and more recently from the IPL, will join the Thunder in early January to boost their campaign for consecutive BBL Finals appearances.
