Chahal Concedes Most Runs by Indian Spinner in an ODI Match

Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has registered an unwarranted record to his name as he became the Indian spinner to concede most runs in an ODI.
In the first ODI of the three-match series against Australia, Chahal returned with figures of 1/89 from his 10 overs at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Before Chahal, the record was held by leg-spinner Piyush Chawla who had conceded 85 runs in his 10 overs in an ODI against Pakistan in 2008.
Right-arm medium fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar holds the record for conceding most runs by an Indian bowler in ODIs. In 2015, Kumar had conceded 105 runs against South Africa in Mumbai.

Aaron Finch Becomes 2nd Fastest Australian to Score 5,000 ODI Runs

Aaron Finch became the second fastest Australian batsman to score 5,000 runs in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). He achieved the feat during the first ODI of the three-match series at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
The right-handed batsman has taken 126 ODI innings to reach the milestone while his opening partner David Warner, who sits at the top of the chart, took 115 innings.
South Africa's Hashim Amla is the quickest to reach the 5,000-run landmark in ODIs, having taken 101 innings.

Greg Barclay New Chairman of ICC

New Zealand's Greg Barclay has been appointed as the new independent Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
As per the official statement, Barclay will be replacing Shashank Manohar who had stepped down from the post earlier in 2020.
Greg Barclay is an Auckland-based commercial lawyer. Since 2012, he has been a director of New Zealand Cricket (NZC) and currently is the representative of NZC on the board of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Barclay will step down from his position at NZC to lead the ICC in an independent capacity.

Russia's Daniil Medvedev Wins ATP Tour Final

Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has won the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) Final in London.
In the final match, Medvedev snatched a 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 victory over Austria's Dominic Thiem, who ranks number three in the world. On the road to the finals, both tennis players prevailed over Serbian player Novak Djokovic and Spanish national Rafael Nadal, ranked first and second in the world by the ATP. Medvedev faced Djokovic at the group stage and Nadal in the semifinals. The Russian player faced Thiem in five matches, with the Austrian player winning three of them, while Medvedev snatched a victory in two games.
This is the first win for 24-year-old Medvedev in the ATP Finals on his second time playing in the tournament. Last year, he lost all his three games, placing last in his group. This season, the Russian national won all three matches within his group. Medvedev is currently fourth in the ATP's world ranking, boasting nine ATP titles.

The Undertaker Bids Final Farewell to WWE Universe

Legendary wrestler Mark William Calaway, popularly known as by his ring name The Undertaker, called curtains to his illustrious career spanning three decades at WWE's Survivor Series.
Interestingly, the 55-year-old made his WWE debut exactly 30 years ago at Survivor Series in November 1990.
The Undertaker began his professional career in 1987, working as various gimmicks for World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) and other affiliate promotions.
After making his WWE debut in the 1990's Survivor Series event, he went on to become one of the most iconic stars of the WWE.
Widely regarded as the greatest wrestler of all-time, The Undertaker is a seven-time world heavyweight champion. He bagged a total of six tag team titles and is also a one-time champion of Royal Rumble (2007) and a 12-time Slammy Award winner.

Youssoufa Moukoko Becomes Youngest Player in Bundesliga History

Youssoufa Moukoko has become the youngest player to feature in a Bundesliga match after he made his debut for Borussia Dortmund at Olympiastadion Berlin. Moukoko turned 16 on Friday and was immediately included in Dortmund's squad for their league clash away to Hertha Berlin.
A rule change in the German top-flight earlier this year has changed the minimum age requirement from 16 and a half to 16, enabling his inclusion on the bench.
Moukoko has also made an impact at the international level, representing Germany at both U16 and U20 levels.

Sanjay Manjrekar Returns to Commentary Panel

Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar is set to return to the commentary panel for India's tour of Australia, starting November 27. The veteran was dropped by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) from the commentary team of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
It has been speculated that Manjrekar was removed from the panel as a result of his comment calling Ravindra Jadeja a "bits-and-pieces player" during last year's ODI World Cup and the subsequent reactions from fans and the player himself were an important trigger in him losing his job.
