Indian Navy Deploys P-8I for RIMPAC 2026 in Hawaii

The Indian Navy has deployed a Boeing-built P-8I long-range maritime patrol aircraft for the Rim of the Pacific exercise (RIMPAC) 2026 in Hawaii. RIMPAC 2026, the world’s largest international maritime exercise, runs from 24 June to 31 July 2026 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and features about 30 to 31 nations, 30 to 40 surface ships, five submarines, and between 140 and 206 aircraft, with roughly 25,000 to 30,000 personnel. India began participating in 2014 and has taken part in every edition since. The P-8I supports maritime surveillance and anti-submarine warfare and coordinates operations with partner navies. The exercise theme is “Partners: Integrated and Prepared.”

India-Saudi water-cooperation MoU signed during Saudi Water Week

India to implement UPI in Seychelles with NPCI International

India has signed an MoU with the Central Bank of Seychelles to implement the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in Seychelles. India launches Operation Amistad to assist earthquake-hit Venezuela

India launched Operation Amistad on 27 June 2026 to help earthquake-affected Venezuela. External Affairs Ministry announced the mission as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
