A monthly tally of global temperatures conducted by NASA concluded that the month of April 2017 was the second hottest April on record in 137 years of modern record-keeping.
April 2016 was the hottest on record, at 1.06 degrees Celsius warmer than the April mean temperature. Last month was 0.88 degrees Celsius warmer than the mean April temperature from 1951-1980.

Egypt Discovers New Necropolis
Egypt has found a necropolis with at least 17 mummies near the southern city of Minya, the first such find in the area. The discovery was made in the village of Tuna al-Gabal, on the edge of the western desert. The area hosts necropolises mainly for animals and birds.

The system is a prime location to research how planets form around stars like our Sun. Located in the southern hemisphere of the constellation Eridanus, the star Epsilon Eridani (eps Eri) , is closest planetary system around a star similar to the Early sun.
