India Ends Third in Medal Tally with Four Medals at 2025 ISSF World Cup in Munich

The 36-member Indian shooting contingent returned from the 2025 ISSF World Cup in Munich with a total of four medals, two gold and two bronze, which saw them end in third spot at the overall standings behind People's Republic of China and Norway.
The 2025 ISSF World Cup in Munich was held from June 7 to 15, 2025.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu lavished praise on Hillang Yajik, who made history by clinching gold and silver at the 15th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2025 in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Yajik, who hails from Arunachal Pradesh, clinched a gold medal in the Women's Model Physique (up to 155 cm) category and a silver medal in another category. Following her splendid performance at the event, Yajik became the first woman athlete from Arunachal Pradesh to win gold in physique sports at an international tournament.

Ultimate Table Tennis is a professional level table tennis league in India. Launched in 2017, it consists of 8 teams. The league is held by Table Tennis Federation of India.

South Africa Clinches Maiden ICC World Test Championship 2025 Title at Lord's

South African, the Proteas claimed their first-ever ICC trophy by defeating defending champions Australia by five wickets in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2025 at Lord's, London. Chasing a challenging target of 282 runs, South Africa scripted a stunning turnaround, anchored by a resolute century from Aiden Markram and gritty leadership by captain Temba Bavuma. This victory not only ended their long ICC title drought but also marked a cultural and sporting milestone for the nation.
It was a long awaited title for South Africa after ending the drought of the 27 years.
