Khalin Joshi wins J&K Open 2026 golf tournament

GVMC signs MoU with Moscow for Visakhapatnam transport

Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Government of Moscow to develop a modern, technology‑driven urban transportation system for Visakhapatnam. The agreement was signed during the 5th International Transport Summit in Moscow. GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg and Moscow Deputy Mayor Maksim Liksutov, who heads the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development, represented the two sides. The collaboration aims to introduce advanced transport solutions and improve urban mobility in Visakhapatnam, including potential innovations in buses, smart traffic management and non‑motorised transport.
