South India Bank invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of Security Officer (Scale II).
Eligibility Criteria:
- The officers should be from defence forces (Army/Navy/Air Force) with minimum 5 years of defence service as officer
- He should not be below the rank of Captain in Army/ equivalent
- The age should not be more than 45 years as on 31.03.2011
- Officers having experience in Banks as Security Officers will be given preference.
Salary Package:
- Rs.19400 +DA+HRA + Other allowances applicable as per IBA Rules for officers in Scale II.
- As per the current rates, the total initial emolument is around Rs.40, 000/- per month.

- The mode of selection is through personal interview.
- The probation period will be for one year.
