Parulkar became its first Chairman; the Society was converted into a full-fledged Urban Co-operative Bank in the year 1933. Presently the Bank is having correspondent relationship in 45 countries covering 9 currencies with over 125 banks. Saraswat Bank, the premier and largest among the 1725 Urban Co-operative Bank in India has a network of 222 fully computerized branches on CBS platform located in six states i.e. Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and New Delhi.
Saraswat Bank is looking for the applications of energetic and dynamic law officers.
Eligible Candidates:
- A candidate should be B.Com and L.L.B.
- The age of the candidates should not be more than 40 years.
- Atleast 5 years in Legal department of a Bank or with a Legal firm with specialisation in Banking and Property matters.
- Candidates should also have experience in handling matters of banking litigation including consumer complaints, Cheque bouncing, securitization and debt recovery, co-operative court, arbitration, scrutiny of title documents and drafting of guarantees, indemnities, inter-se agreement, mortgages, legal notices
- Thorough knowledge of the provisions of the Stamp Acts and Registration Act; Negotiable Instrument Act.
