At present the total starting emoluments are approximately Rs24164.25 per month inclusive of DA & HRA at the current rate.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must be Indian citizen
- Bachelor degree of a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
- Proficiency in Kannada language (Only candidates knowing Kannada to read, write and speak need apply.
- Knowledge of computer skills
- Above 18 years but below 28 years as on 01.12.2011.

Selection Procedure:
- The selection will be made on the basis of performance in written test and interview.
- All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose online applications are received in time and who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be called for a written test.
- All those candidates who have secured minimum qualifying marks in written examination, in the order of merit, shall be called for interview upto the ratio of 1:3.
- Final selection will be on the basis of the ranking accorded, after adding the marks obtained in the written test and interview.
