JEE Main 2015 will be conducted online and offline. Offline exam will be held on 4th April, 2015 whereas online exam will be held on 10th or 11th April, 2015.

Admit Card Details
JEE Main 2015 admit card will be released online on or after 1st March, 2015. It will be issued only for those candidates who will submit their application form correctly and in due duration.

Admit card can be downloaded against roll number and class XII exam details. It is an important document on which entry in exam hall depends. Candidates must secure it properly even after the exam.
Eligibility Criteria
It is mandatory to fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to sit in JEE Main 2015 examination. Candidates must ensure that they are eligible before applying. Application fee will not be reimbursed under any circumstance. Criteria are as below:

Age Limit: Candidate should be born on or after 1st October, 1990. Relaxation on upper age limit is up to 5years for SC/ST and PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification: Qualifying exam should have been passed either in 2013 or 2014. Applicant must have 5 subjects in qualifying exam, out of which Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be core subjects.

Candidates appearing for class 12th examination may also apply for JEE Main 2015, only if they are sure that their result will be issued before 25th June, 2015.

Number of attempts for JEE Main: Each candidate can give JEE Main 3 times only.
Result Classification
Part-I: JEE Main 2015 Score
• Part-I states marks obtained by the candidate in the exam. It will be published around May 2015.

Part-II: JEE Main 2015 AIR (All India Rank)
• Part-II of result will state all India rank and categorical rank of the candidate in JEE Main 2015. It will be issued later, most probably till July 2015.

JEE Main 2015 Result will be coupled with class XII marks to grant admission into various participating colleges. Candidates shall be selected for admission on the basis of marks obtained in JEE Main and class XII marks in the ratio 60 : 40 (normalisation process).
Exam Pattern
Pattern of JEE Main 2015 is as below:

Exam duration: Exam will be of 3 hour duration. One hour compensatory extra time will be allotted to PWD candidates with 40% or more disability.

Subjects and Syllabus: Syllabus will cover concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Questions: There will be 30 questions in each section, i.e. total 90. Candidates will have to solve all. Questions will be of Multiple Choice (Objective) type.

Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded. Hence, the exam will be of 360 marks in total. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
