| Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air Force Recruitment (2018): |
| Educational Qualification: For Airman Group X (Except Education Instructor Trade): Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR must have passed Three-year Diploma Course in Engineering in the relevant stream from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course. For Airman Group Y (Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician) Trades: Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. For Airman Group Y Medical Assistant Trade Only: Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. |
| Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 14-07-1998 to 26-06-2002. |
| Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test and Medical Examination. |
| Application Fee: All candidates have to pay Rs. 250 through Axis Bank Challan or online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card. |
