NMAT 2015 : Eligibility, Selection Process, How to Apply & Dates

NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM) announces admission to its Two Year Full -Time programs MBA, MBA-HR & MBA-Pharmaceutical Management at Mumbai campus and PGDM at Bengaluru& PGDBM at Hyderabad Campuses for academic session 2015-17
NMAT-2015 Eligibility Criteria
MBA, MBA (Banking), MBA (Capital Market) and MBA HR
Full time bachelors degree (10+2+3/4) (graduation) from a recognized university in India with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the first attempt
Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply
MBA (Pharmaceutical Management)
Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical doctors MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc and M.Sc in Biotechnology from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt. Post Graduate degree in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.
Candidates with B.Tech & B.E in Bio-Tech & Bio-Medical are also eligible to apply The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University/Institution awarding the degree
Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies for more than two years are preferred
PGDM - Bengaluru Campus and PGDM - Hyderabad Campus
Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University / Institution awarding the degree.
Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

Candidates who are appearing for the final examination are eligible to apply (Provisional admission subject to clearing the final examination in first attempt and in the stipulated duration with 50% aggregate marks) and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
For all the Full Time programs, candidates with two and more years of post-qualification, work experience will be preferred.
At the time of admission, the candidate should have cleared all the trimesters / semesters of the Program. No examination of any previous Semester / Trimester to the final Semester / Trimester examination be held subsequent to the final Semester/ Trimester examination. No result of any previous Semester / Trimester examination to the final Semester / Trimester examination be declared subsequent to the declaration of the result or the final Semester / Trimester examination. Those candidates who have passed, or, have appeared for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained.
Selection process
Stage-I: NMAT Exam
Stage-II: Case discussion (CD), Personal Interview (PI) and written test
Stage-III: Evaluation of academic performance and relevant work experience
How to Apply
1. For appearing for NMAT online application has to be duly submitted and payment of registration charges need to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time
2. Candidates can apply for more than one programme/campus as per his/her eligibility by giving preferences
3. There will be three radio buttons for registration; MBA (Full Time), PGDM and both (Full Time MBA and PGBM)
4. A candidate who wishes to apply for more than one campuses has to select the third option of both and has to pay registration charges
5. The mode of payment will be as credit card or cash at bank or demand draft
NMAT 2015 Test Structure
NMAT would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type questions). The NMAT will comprise the following:
i) Language Skills - 32 (No of Questions); Allotted Time 22 minutes
ii) Quantitative Skills - 48 (No of Questions); Allotted Time - 60 Minutes
iii) Logical Reasoning - 40 (No of Questions); Allotted Time - 38 Minutes
Total Questions: 120; Duration: 120
