| Requirements | ||||||||||||||||
| In case the photograph is not printed or available on the e- Admit Card, candidates are advised to carry two identical (2) photographs (one photograph for each session) along with proof of identity such as Identity Card etc. and printout of e-Admit Card at the venue of the Examination to secure admission in the Examination. | ||||||||||||||||

| The entrance for National Defense Academy comprises of a Written Examfollowed by and Intelligence and Personality Test. The details follow: | ||||||||||||||||

| • The papers in all the subjects consist of Objective (multiple choice answer) Type questions only. • Question Papers of Paper I – Mathematics and Part B of Paper II will be set in English and Hindi. • SI units will be used in the papers and Candidates should use only International form of Indian numerals (i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc.) while answering question papers. • Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the examination. • Candidates are not permitted to use calculators for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets). |

| • Candidates in age group of 16-1/2 to 19-1/2 can apply • Only unmarried male candidate are eligible to sit in written exam. • Girls are not allowed to apply for NDA. • No reservation in age allowed for SC/ST/OBC etc • 10+2 qualified or appearing both can apply subject to prescribed age limit • While applying, candidates have to select first NDA or NA (naval Academy) • If selected NDA, candidates can opt for their preferences of Indian Army, Air force and Navy • To select air force or Indian Navy, candidates must studied with Math and physics in 10+2. However, for Indian army, candidates need not to be of science background. • After qualifying written exam, candidates will be called for SSB interview and medical examination • Candidates will finally selected for 3 years degree course of National Defense Academy on basis of all India merit list. |
