Both courses of actions here are right. Since the nature of the bugs has not been mentioned in the question, it is left for the student's assumptions. There have been instances where companies have recalled their products from the market because the bugs in the product have been of serious nature. For example, data security. If the product was left to stay in the market in such a scenario, it will get sold to more people and rectification for each customer can prove to be an unproductive exercise as compared to recalling the products and rectifying the error for the customers who have the product already.
