Topic - In most professions and academic fields, imagination is more important than knowledge

 

Regarded as one one of the most influential scientists of all time, Mr Einstein once said, 

"logic will take from A to B

 But imagination will take you everywhere"

and the man's words reflected his work, which helped the whole world to seek knowledge.

Anyone can learn from books, not everyone can write them. Such is the power of imagination

which outweighs knowledge when it comes to creation of new ideas, opportunities, developments 

in any field.

In simpler words imagination leads to Invention.

 

There are many more examples to support this superiority of imagination over knowledge, take

Steve Jobs for Example he prefered thinking about new ideas rather than studying old ones from

textbooks during his graduation years and when he developed his own new ideas, he did'nt mind leaving

college.

There are many others who have proven this time and again.

Mozart was 8 when he created his first symphony, its relatively impossible for science to explain

learning so much at such an age. Clearly it was the kid's imagination that took him to where any

musician would want himself to be, setting such high standards.

 

Even in today's world presence of an R&D facility in almost every firm justifies the importance

of imagination over knowledge. Compamies spend millions each year even for a slight new thing

that could lead them to strengthen their position in this competetive market. In this world

no one know who watches what on TV, But everyone knows that J.L Baird invented it.

 

A little down side of this may be the amount of time, money spend on research but its the end

result that matters. its just that"To Get extraordinary results one needs to think that way".
