TOPIC- Law should be flexible enough to take account of various circumstances, times and places.

 

                                 law is made provide a peaceful environment to the people, So that they can lead a life without fear. Without law, there will no diifernce between humans and animals. Therefore, law is an essential part of life which regulate people to live in discipline and one, who is not following, is punished.

                                 firstly, I agree with the statement, that law should be flexible but to some extent. law is made for the people. That law which failed to provide the facility to the people contains no meaning of it. For instance, In India, Cases used to run for years and years. one who loss the case in lower court can again appeal in higher court and criminal can roam around with full freedom.So changes should be done according to the circumstances, so that case can come to an end soon.

                                  Secondly, According to the time laws made in past become irrelevant due to development. For example, Cyber crime has increase in this last decade a lot. So, the laws made 10 years ago are infficient in providing better cyber crime solutions. Therefore laws should be flexible according to time.

                                 Thirdly,  The ratio of males and females in Punjab and Haryana is less than 800 female per 1000 males, where as in Kerala, the ratio is more than 1000 females per 1000 males. Tt means that female forticide in Punjab and Haryana is very severe but not in kerala. Therefore, strict actions should be employed to stop female forticide in Punjab and Haryana, however, these actions need not to be employed in Kelara. which proves that law should be flexible according to places. 

                                On the other hand,law should not be flexible enough so that authorities can take decesions of their own. By doing this, They can become partial by supporting criminals or wrong people which would lead to corruption also. And ordianry people will lose faith in law system. Democracy will no longer servive in front bureaucracy.

                                 In the end, I would say, Law should be flexible, but in a discipline manner.
