In this argument, the author have conducted an interview which shows that the children living in tertia island spend much more time with their biological parents than other adults in the village which proves that Dr. Fields observation  20 years ago was wrong.At that time,the parents may not be much concern about their kids,the society was good enough . but at present the parents are more worried about their children and they believe that the children are not safe outside their home. Also the people are more carrier oriented nowadays . They are too busy in their lives that they cant handle their own children,so love and care for others is least expected.Moreover interview based interpretation may be wrong. The kind of questions asked by author might  not be related to the topic.for ex. if the author will ask questions about their parents , then kids will answer only releated to their parents and not releated to others.Secondly the kids might hesitate while answering the questions because they have not been in these situations before and thus act in a defensive way.The author may have  taken a homogeneous sample of kids,which may not give the right conclusion so the type of population should be more heterogeneous which can include children from varoious age groups, likings , interests.Moreover the team of graduated students have conducted this research and we cannot completely realy on their work.
