the author in this argument reveals that  two decades back children in the village Tertia were reared more by the entire village and less by their biological parents but this practice is not seen nowadays .This change can be explained by the fact that things keep on changing with time and nothing is always constant. earlier people were more close to each other and have more time for each other but now the whole world is busy among themselves only. This change has occured due to more development , socio-economic changes, etc. now people are more interested in themselves and show little interest in others business which have reduced their love for each other.

The author also says that the recent studies among children is done by group of graduate students so there is no appropriate evidence that shows that the results conducted by there students are accurat may be they have neglected some important points on which they have paid attention. the method mentioned in the argument is interview based which is not very reliable especiallly if we are talking about children.in interview based methods , the results are based upon the type of questions asked and whether these are appropriate for the main topic or not . secondly in these cases respondants become defensive.so the observation based method would be more suitable in this case.

the author is taking about children which can be infants , adolescent or adults so the people surveyed are not clearly defined these may have different likings , interests which maynot match with the whole poppulation. so we can say that the sample is not the representative of the population.secondly the quality of children should be more heterogenous .he should have questioned the children fron all age groups and should not concentrate on homogenous group that is children having same age, interests.

Dear Jashan, The points are there in your essay, but they are not at all developed. You can't expect to get away with this as ETS will not reward you for your points, but for the arguments that you put forward in defense of your point.
