Satvir Singh Deol -Toefl Student Sexism is something which is based on the different attitudes shown by the society towards different genders, there are some rules about how they should act, think, and feel. It is quite a complex topic as in the listening part it is stated that sexism occurs naturally within a person instead of implementing by the parent or some older person. There are certain examples given on this like a certain experiment is conducted in which 8 boys and 3 girls participated. It showed that out of three girls two of them directly goes to kitchen area and spent there time there and just sat around there drawing, making pictures, and out of boys all of them played with blocks or action figures. So It shows that boys are naturally attracted towards masculin things in contrast with the girls. It is also said that around the age of 5 girls as well as boys started ignoring their respective toys, it can happen either naturally or some older person has said them to do so. >>>>>When we try to compare both the reading and the listening part there are some similarities as well as dissimilarities. But first we are going to find out the disagreeing part as it is more as compared to the similarities. The reading part is directly based on the fact that there is a large impact of environment, society's attitude on the behaviour of the children that they choose their toys due to some guidance given by the elders based on their gender but the listening part opposes this statement as their are some fine examples which describes that children adapt their toys naturally. Their is an example given as the male monkeys go for ***** or cars wheras the female monkeys plays with dolls or some kind of girly stuff. >>>> But in the listening part in the end it is also said that there can be a little impact of elders on children. Elders can stop them from playing with certain toys and at the same time can compel them to play the toys based on their respective gender. But the agreeing part is quite less. >>>So in the conclusion we can say that the writing and listening part generally are in disagreement but there is one point where similarity is shown i.e the children can be affected by the elders to choose the toys they want their children to play with but on the whole the passage is in disagreement.

Satvir, this is developed very well and seems to hit on all the points. There are some grammar and word usage errors, but they do not take away from my understanding. I'm quite impressed with this
