Thanks subarna 4 support. Hopefuly others wil get the point too. Nw wid the topics- though i m novice at cse, but i feel the current situation of indian economy with lowest gdp in past 9 years and a dismal iip of 0.1 percent, makes a gud topic as it wud test the grasp of the knowledge of students and wil also analyze the crisis solving techniques in terms of the ways in wich india cn revive the economy. I am open to discussion. Post constructive opinions.

With the complexities creeping fast in our evolving system, merely a re engineered education system would not suffice the need. Other components of the economy viz Population control, Citizen-centric Governance (the MMPs), Technology induction in our Industries and agriculture, a flexible economic policy and so like must be empaneled while deliberating over this macroscopic topic.

Absolutely, that is why we desperately need quality human resource management in the nation or else we will just add more burden/pressure on the economy.. indian diaspora and their role could be interesting as well

Hmm.. Nice one. I also feel that indian talent is under utilized and given the opportunity it can bring about a pardigm shift in the process of development of country. There are so many graduates, engg, mbas and other professionals passing out each year. I mean there is abundant of intellectuals but still there is dearth of employable candidates among them. What we need to bring about is a change in education system which instead of spewing out a herd of professionals, should gv us quality and employablity.

Inderjeet and Sudha, these are good topics for this year, i do feel India's demographic dividend and how to utilise it should be an important topic too..what do you think?
