All You Need to Know About SBI Clerk 2016- Exams Pattern & Changes

State Bank of India has given a reason for bank service aspirants to smile; after 2 years, SBI has released the notification for recruitments in the Clerical Cadre. Approximately 14000 vacant posts are to be filled up through the upcoming exam, which is scheduled to be held in May and June 2016 (tentatively).

However, this notification brought with it some surprises. Let’s take a look at what SBI Clerical 2016 would be like:

1- Two-tier exam instead of a single-tier exam
SBI Clerical 2014 was a single-tier exam. However, this time SBI has also decided to conduct a 2-tier exam consisting of Prelims and Mains. It’s not quite a surprise as IBPS has already conducted 2-tier exams for selection of Clerks in various PSB in 2015. Even SBI conducted the exams in two tiers for selection of PO in 2015, but it will be for the first time in the Clerical Cadre.

In a bid to familiarize and educate school students of Ludhiana about some 'heavy' changes in upcoming Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT-General), a workshop was held at the BRS Nagar centre of Top Careers & You (TCY). This workshop was a ’morale-boosting' exercise for many students who until now were 'quite scared' about their May exam. For the uninitiated, the SAT is a standardized test for most college admissions in the United States and several other countries. It is owned, published and developed by the College Board, a non-profit organization in the US. It tests the skills one learns in school: Reading, Writing and Maths.

SMART Classes without Individualization is Dumb!

There has been a lot of hype and hoopla around what a smart class could achieve in terms of student learning. However as the dust is settling and Teachers are realizing that they are nothing but a set of tagged videos and animations that help them visualize certain concepts , it is time to rethink on what the actual requirement is in a 'one teacher many students' situation.
