Proportional Reasoning – 2 strengthens students' ability to compare quantities using ratios and proportions. It covers simplifying ratios, forming and solving proportions, finding unknown terms, and applying proportional thinking in daily-life contexts such as speed–time–distance, price comparisons, mixtures, scale drawings, and unitary method problems. Emphasis is on correct setup, equivalent ratios, and avoiding common mistakes with cross-multiplication and units.
