There are various Law Entrance exams, like CLAT and AILET, for admission to LLB courses. The most prominent is CLAT, conducted for admission in participating National Law Universities (NLUs). AILET is conducted separately by NLU, Delhi. Basically, there are two types of LLB programmes - 5 year integrated (B.A, LLB), and 3 year (LLB). Whereas the eligibility for a 5 year programme is +2, that for a 3 year programme is usually graduation. The syllabus for the two, however, is broadly the same, except that graduates for 3-year programmes may not be tested for Numerical Ability. The UG entrance exams for 5-year courses cover English, GK, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Legal Aptitude.
