The Amazon Global Selling India strengthened its partnership with the government to accelerate the country's e-commerce export ecosystem, signing new Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with key export and MSME bodies, Srinidhi Kalvapudi.
An MoU was signed with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), the apex body of exporters in India. It also signed an MoU with the MSME Commissionerate of Gujarat.
NITI Aayog Extends Support to Indian Rice Exporters Federation's Bharat International Rice Conference 2025
In a significant step towards strengthening India's agricultural trade and enhancing the country's global leadership in rice exports, NITI Aayog extended its support to the Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF) for organising the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025. The prestigious event will take place on October 31, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The conference, a flagship initiative by IREF, aims to bring together policymakers, exporters, scientists, researchers, and international trade representatives under one platform to deliberate on innovation, sustainability, and strategies to boost India's export competitiveness.
Dy CM Vijay Sharma inaugurated the Bastar Olympics 2025 in the remote forest village of Kachchapal in Narayanpur district. Organised by the Chhattisgarh government, the event aims to promote traditional sports, identify sporting talent among tribal youth in the Maoist-affected Bastar region, and connect them to the national mainstream.
The Bastar Olympics is being held in three phases — at the block, district, and divisional levels — and has already witnessed massive participation. Over 3.8 lakh participants across Bastar division are taking part this year, including more than 47,000 from Narayanpur district alone.
The Bastar Olympics 2025 is being held from October 25 to November 30, featuring competitions in athletics, archery, badminton, football, karate, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, tug-of-war, hockey, and weightlifting.
Events includes junior (14-17 years), senior (17+ years), differently-abled athletes, and even surrendered Naxalites, who will directly participate at the divisional level — making it a unique symbol of inclusion, peace, and transformation in Bastar.

In a move reinforcing regional heritage, the Aurangabad Railway Station in Maharashtra was officially renamed Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Railway Station, as per a notification by the Central Railway. The station now carries the new code 'CPSN', and falls under the Nanded Division of South Central Railway. The renaming follows the earlier change of the city's name from Aurangabad to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in 2022, a decision taken by the Eknath Shinde-led state government.

Rajasthan Bans Employment of Children under 14 in Shops and Commercial Establishments
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma approved the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025, which prohibits the employment of children aged below 14 years in shops and commercial establishments, an official statement said.
The government also approved amendments to the Rajasthan Factories (Amendment) Rules, 2025, aimed at promoting business activities while ensuring the welfare and safety of workers.
Under the ordinance, the minimum age for apprentices was raised from 12 to 14 years, and adolescents aged 14 to 18 will no longer be permitted to work during the night - a change from the earlier limit of 12 to 15 years.
