Madhav National Park in Madhya Pradesh Becomes India's 58th Tiger Reserve
The Centre declared the Madhav National Park in Madhya Pradesh as the country's 58th tiger reserve, with Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav making the announcement. The newly added national park was also the ninth from the state to get the recognition.
Located in the Shivpuri district in Chambal region, the reserve has five tigers at present, including the two cubs.

The union food ministry came out with a scheme to help cooperative sugar mills convert their sugarcane-based ethanol plants into multi-feedstock facilities, enabling year-round operations using grains such as maize and damaged food grains.

The Rajasthan Coaching Centres (Control and Regulation) Bill-2025 was drafted based on the guidelines issued by the central government, the state's specific requirements and after discussions with various stakeholders.
After the Cabinet meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa said that once the proposed law is implemented, it will be mandatory for all coaching institutes to register themselves.
