One of the world's biggest iceberg is on the move after more than 30 years being stuck to the ocean floor.
The iceberg, called A23a, split from the Antarctic coastline in 1986. But it swiftly grounded in the Weddell Sea, becoming, essentially, an ice island.
At almost 4,000 sq km (1,500 sq miles) in area, it's more than twice the size of Greater London.
The past year has seen it drifting at speed, and the berg is now about to spill beyond Antarctic waters.

RBI Slaps Penalty on Citibank, Bank of Baroda, IOB for Violating Norms
The Reserve Bank of India imposed a monetary penalty of Rs. 4.34 crore on Bank of Baroda, Rs. 5 crore on Citibank, and Rs. 1 crore on Indian Overseas Bank for violating norms.
On Bank of Baroda, RBI said the lender failed to ensure accuracy and integrity of data on large exposures submitted to RBI with respect to some accounts. It sanctioned a term loan to a corporation in lieu of, or to substitute, budgetary resources envisaged for certain projects.
The penalty on Citibank was because the lender failed to credit the eligible amount to the Depositor Education and Awareness Fund within the prescribed time period, paid remuneration in the form of commission to its certain staff members, and outsourced the monitoring and disposal/closure (decision-making function) of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) alerts to a group company.
Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) was found violating norms while extending term loans to two corporate entities without undertaking due diligence on the viability and bankability of the projects to ensure that revenue streams from the projects were sufficient to take care of the debt servicing obligations, and it was sanctioned in lieu of, or to substitute, budgetary resources envisaged for certain projects.

In a significant policy decision, the International Cricket Council (ICC) implemented a ban on transgender cricketers from participating in international women's cricket at the highest level. This decision has raised discussions around inclusivity, athlete rights and the impact of the ban on transgender individuals. The move is said to be in alignment with the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) guidelines, considering cricket's inclusion in the 2028 Olympics.
The decision came on the heels of controversary sparked by Canada's Danielle McGahey, who became the first transgender cricketer to participate in an official international match just two months ago. International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is observed worldwide on November 25 each year, as designated by the United Nations General Assembly. The day aims to create awareness that women are victims of various forms of violence, including domestic violence and rape.
Since 1981, women's rights activists have marked 25 November as a day against gender-based violence, paying homage to the Mirabal sisters—three Dominican political activists brutally murdered in 1960 by order of the country's ruler, Rafael Trujillo (1930-1961). In a significant stride towards combating violence against women, the General Assembly, on December 20, 1993, adopted the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women (resolution 48/104), laying the groundwork for global efforts to eradicate such violence.
A crucial development occurred on February 7, 2000, as the General Assembly, through resolution 54/134, officially designated November 25 as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
This year's (2023) theme, 'UNITE! Invest to prevent violence against women and girls', emphasises the need to fund prevention strategies proactively to stop gender-based violence.
