Russia put US President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other top officials on a "stop list" that bars them from entering the country.
Their names, together with Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin, CIA chief William Burns, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and others, were included on a list of 13 individuals banned from Russia in response to sanctions imposed by Washington on Russian officials. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was also named.

Flipkart Health+ appointed Prashant Jhaveri as its chief executive officer (CEO) to lead Flipkart's foray in the fast-growing healthcare sector in India.
Prior to joining Flipkart Health+ Jhaveri was the chief business officer at Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited, where he was responsible for growth, partnerships and creating cross-functional synergies across different consumer-facing businesses and touchpoints. Myanmar to Initiate Rupee Convertibility for Trade along Indian Border
The Myanmar government intends to initiate the currency convertibility for the Indian rupee for trade along the border it shares with India, following the Southeast Asian country's agreement this month to deal in Thai baht with neighbours and the kyat-baht initiative for border trade with China.
The Myanmar government has agreed to accept the Thai baht as an official currency for settling border trade starting this month. Thailand is the second country after China to permit its national currency to be exchangeable with the Myanmar kyat for border trade activities.
Myanmar and China commenced kyat-renminbi settlement for border trades in January 2022.
Chennai to host Chess Olympiad this year after shifting out of Russia
Chennai will host the 44th Chess Olympiad in July this year. The International Chess Federation (FIDE) Council had decided to shift the venue of the event out of Moscow.
The venue will be the convention centre at the Four Points by Sheraton, located in the Mahabalipuram area, one of the main tourist destinations in southern India.
The International Chess Federation or FIDE approved the bid offered by the All India Chess Federation (AICF) to host the mega biennial event that would see about 190 nations competing for the medals.
"The exact schedule is still being discussed and will be announced in the coming days, but the event will take place between the end of July and the beginning of August, not very far off from the dates originally planned," FIDE said.

The longest vessel ever to sail on river Brahmaputra was anchored at Pandu Port in Guwahati after completing its pilot run of heavy cargo movement from Haldia Dock in Kolkata.
The 90-metre long vessel, MV Ram Prasad Bismil, is loaded with a draft of 2.1 meter. The vessel along with two barges - DB Kalpana Chawla and DB APJ Abdul Kalam - carrying 1,793 metric tonne of steel rods was flagged off from the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port in Haldia by the Union Minister for Shipping, Ports and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal.

Banda, Zambia's fourth President who was in power from 2008 to 2011, was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and had been receiving medical treatment.

Opening its doors for girls for the first time in its 100-year history, Dehradun-based Rashtriya Indian Military College will admit girls from the new session starting in July this year.
The announcement was made by RIMC commandant Col Ajay Kumar at a function to mark 100 years of the institution's existence.
