Pakistan, China and Afghanistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on anti-terrorism cooperation during a second trilateral ministerial dialogue in Kabul.
The MoU was signed by Pakistan's foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Chinese and Afghan counterparts Wang Yi and Salahuddin Rabbani. The signing of the document was witnessed by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
This was the second meeting of the three foreign ministers after their kick-off meeting in Beijing last year.

Fortis Sale Put on Hold
The Supreme Court has put the sale of Fortis to Malaysia's IHH Healthcare on hold.
Cash-strapped Fortis, which operates about 30 private hospitals in India, accepted an investment offer from IHH in July after an extended bidding war for control of the company.

President Donald Trump announced that his Budget Director Mick Mulvaney will step in as acting Chief of Staff to replace John Kelly.
Mr. Mulvaney is currently head of the White House Office of Management and Budget, which oversees federal spending and administers the federal budget.
Mahinda Rajapaksa Resigned
After disputably holding on to the post of Prime Minister for weeks, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa resigned, and vowed to clinch power in the next election.
President Maithripala Sirisena will re-install Ranil Wickremesinghe as Prime Minister, 50 days after he sacked him and appointed Mr. Rajapaksa instead.
Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year on December 16 to mark the military victory of India over Pakistan in the 1971 war, the war for the Independence of Bangladesh from Pakistan. The end of the war resulted in unilateral and unconditional surrender of Pakistani Army.
