According to Myanmar Foreign Secretary Myint Thu, his country would take back a first group of 2,000 Rohingya refugees from camps in Bangladesh in November. Myanmar had verified 5,000 names on a list of 8,032 Rohingya that the Bangladesh authorities had sent in February.
According to the World Bank, India jumped to the 77th spot in the ranking of countries by 'ease of doing business', jumping 23 places over its 2017 standing on the back of reforms that made it easier to get construction permits, pay taxes and access electricity.
As per the World Bank Group's Doing Business 2019 report, India carried out six business reforms during the past year that earned it the credential of being a top global improver for the second year in a row. The country recorded a rise of 30 places in the rankings last year, clinching the 100th spot.
Core Sector growth Slows Down
Growth of eight infrastructure sectors slowed down to 4.3% in September, the lowest in the last four months, as production of crude oil and natural gas declined. Previously, the lowest growth rate was in May 2018, when the core sectors expanded at 4.1%.

Parker Solar Probe Breaks Record
NASA's Parker Solar Probe has clinched the record for closest approach to the sun by a man-made object.
The spacecraft passed the current record of 26.55 million miles from the sun's surface as calculated by the Parker Solar Probe team.
The previous record for closest solar approach was set by the German-American Helios 2 spacecraft in April 1976.

Anupam Kher Resigns as FTII Chairman
Anupam Kher resigned as chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) because his international assignments would keep him away from being "actively involved" in the affairs of the institute.
Kher replaced Gajendra Chauhan as the chairperson in October 2017.
First Heritage Structure in UP to Have its own Heritage by-laws
