PIO in race to become UK's anti-terror chief

A senior Indian-origin police officer is in the running to take charge as Britain's anti-terrorism chief when Scotland Yard's national lead for counter terrorism resigns next month. Neil Basu, currently Metropolitan police deputy assistant commissioner and senior national coordinator for UK counter terrorism policing, is tipped to take over one of the British policings toughest jobs from Mark Rowley, The Sunday Times reported.

MUMBAI WOMEN SET A RECORD WITH 1,008 SURYA NAMASKARS

A group of 40 women and two men set a new record with 1,008 surya namaskars for the Limca Book of Records. Interestingly, they broke their own record of 501 surya namaskars. With motivational music playing and volunteers cheering, the group managed to achieve the feat in six hours at a hall in Andheri.
