Sri Lanka has rejected China's request for its submarine to dock at Colombo next week after a similar visit in 2014, which had triggered strong protest from India.
The move came as Prime Minister Modi is in Sri Lanka to be the chief guest at tomorrow's International Vesak Day celebrations, the biggest festival of Buddhists.
As per reports, such requests would be turned down in future too.
TVS Motor Company has entered into an exclusive strategic arrangement with Guatemala-based Masesa (Mayor Servicios Socieda Anonima) for distribution of its two- and three-wheelers in Central America.
TVS Motor currently exports its product to more than 60 countries. The Masesa alliance will help TVS Motor to make a foray into Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. On its part, Masesa will develop exclusive TVS Motor concessionaires in these markets.
Snapdeal and Nexus Reach Deal with SoftBank
Founders of Indian online marketplace Snapdeal and one of its early investors, Nexus, have reached an agreement with SoftBank Group that would allow the Japanese firm to move ahead with its plan to sell Snapdeal to bigger rival Flipkart.
Nexus and Snapdeal founders have agreed to the terms of payment with SoftBank wherein Snapdeal founders would get $15 million each and Nexus would get $50 million to $60 million.
Flipkart is expected to sign the term sheet and start due diligence of Snapdeal.
