Iran Complying with Nuclear Deal

According to a report from the UN nuclear watchdog, Iran is complying with a landmark atomic deal signed with major world powers in 2015.
The International Atomic Energy Agency`s report showed that Iran "has not pursued the construction of the existing heavy water research reactor" and has "not enriched uranium" above the 3.67 percent-limit imposed on Tehran.

ONGC Board Approves Pact to Acquire GSPC

The Board of state-owned ONGC has approved signing of definitive agreements for buying debt-laden GSPC's entire 80 per cent stake in KG-basin natural gas block for USD 1.2 billion.
ONGC will pay USD 995.26 million for three discoveries in the KG-OSN-2001/3 block that are under trial production since August 2014. Another USD 200 million will be paid for six other discoveries for which GSPC has been finalising an investment plan to bring them to production.

Forex Reserves Down

As per RBI, India's foreign exchange reserves declined by USD 56.8 million to USD 362.73 billion in the week to February 17, on account of dip in foreign currency assets (FCAs).
The special drawing rights with the International Monetary Fund marginally rose by USD 0.9 million to USD 1.443 billion; India's reserve position with the Fund, too, increased by USD 1.4 million to USD 2.317 billion.

Carbon Dioxide Converts into Fuel

Scientists have developed tiny nano particles that turned carbon dioxide into fuel using light.
As per researchers, carbon dioxide converts into methane, a key building block for many types of fuels, by using only ultraviolet light as an energy source.
After having found a catalyst that can do this important chemistry using ultraviolet light, researchers hope to develop a version that would run on natural sunlight, a potential boon to alternative energy.

Pooja Ghatkar Clinches Bronze Medal

Indian shooter Pooja Ghatkar clinched the bronze medal at Women's Air Rifle at ISSF Shooting World Cup.
Pooja finished third after China's Mengyao Shi, who won a gold medal and Dong Lijie, won the silver medal.
Pooja is also an Asian champion in 10m air rifle.
