As per President Tayyip Erdogan, the final goal of a Turkish military incursion into Syria was not just to retake the city of al-Bab from Islamic State, but to cleanse a border region including Raqqa of the jihadists.

Immediate Evacuations Ordered
Residents below the tallest dam in the United States near Oroville in Northern California were ordered to evacuate immediately after an auxiliary spillway was in danger of imminent collapse.
State authorities and engineers began carefully releasing water from the Lake Oroville Dam some 65 miles (105 km) north of Sacramento after noticing that large chunks of concrete were missing from a spillway.

A massive evacuation began in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki so that experts can defuse a 500-pound unexploded World War II bomb.
The bomb, dropped during an air raid in the 1940s, was found this month during work to expand storage tanks under a gas station.
Suzlon Energy has divested 49% stake in solar power projects totalling 210 mw and is in advanced talks to sell stake in another 130 mw projects in a deal that the company aims to close before March.
The stake sale could potentially fetch the company another Rs. 110 crore.

India will build six more next-generation Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) on the Airbus platform to enhance surveillance and detection with longer range and complete view.
Once the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) clears and the Cabinet Committee for Security approves the proposal, the six AWACS will be made in seven years after the contract is signed with Airbus Defence & Space.
The AWACS will have a 300-km range and 360 degree angle of coverage as against a 200-km range and 240 degree angle of Airborne Early Warning and Control System (AEW&C) the DRDO has built on the Brazilian Embraer-145 modified jet for the Indian Air Force (IAF).
