Researchers from Myanmar have discovered the tail of a dinosaur perfectly preserved in a piece of amber.
The dinosaur is claimed to be 99 million-year-old complete with its feathers and perfectly preserved.
As per the researchers, the finding helps to fill in details of the dinosaurs’ feather structure and evolution, which cannot be determined from fossil evidence.
Industrial production contracted by (-)1.9 per cent in October.
The decline is mainly due to poor show by manufacturing and mining sectors coupled with decline in capital goods output.
Direct Tax Collection Up
The Union government's revenue collection in April to November saw indirect tax-mop up growing at an impressive 26.2 per cent while that of direct tax came in at 15.12 per cent.
Total direct and indirect tax collections at the end of November stood at Rs 9.64 lakh crore, 59 per cent of the Rs 16.26 lakh crore target for 2016-17.
Japan successfully launched a rocket carrying the unmanned cargo spaceship Kounotori 6 to deliver supplies for astronauts living in the International Space Station.
The spaceship, sixth of its kind, carries some 5.9 tonnes of supplies.
Developed and built in Japan, the Kounotori spacecraft, also known as H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV), has been used to deliver supplies to the space station.
