UN member states condemned widespread human rights violations in North Korea and expressed concerns that funds needed to ease the dire humanitarian crisis are spent on Pyongyang's missile and nuclear programs.

Petrol and Diesel Prices Cut
Oil companies cut the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs. 1.46 and Rs. 1.53 a litre respectively.
The cut comes after a string of hikes, i.e. six times, since September and will definitely be a relief for the vehicle owners.
In the six hikes, petrol price had gone up by Rs 7.53 per litre in just over two months.
WPI Inflation Eases in October
In the second consecutive month of decline, wholesale inflation eased to 3.39 per cent in October as food articles witnessed softening of prices.
The wholesale price-based inflation, reflecting the annual rate of price rise, in September stood at 3.57 per cent.
Overall, the food inflation basket showed moderation with inflation at 4.34 percent in October, as against 5.75 percent in September.

The Union Cabinet decided to declare Zakir Naik's NGO 'Islamic Research Foundation' an outlawed organisation.
The ban on Naik's NGO has been enforced under Unlawful Activity Prevention Act.
The move comes after investigation by the Home Ministry found the NGO was allegedly having dubious links with Peace TV, an international Islamic channel, accused of propagating terrorism.
India Gets Full Support in Fighting Cross-border Terror
France has assured India of full support in dealing with the threat posed by cross-border terrorism, particularly from Pakistan-based terror outfits Hizbul Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad.
Secretary General of French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Christian Masset also renewed his country's unconditional support to India's bid for membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group.
