As of now, 177 Parties have signed, and 17 have ratified the climate agreement.
The Secretary-General called on all countries to accelerate their domestic processes to join or ratify the agreement to ensure its early entry into force.
Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova has been banned for two years after committing an anti-doping violation.
An Independent Tribunal found that Maria Sharapova committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation and as a consequence has disqualified the affected results and imposed a period of ineligibility of two years, commencing from 26 January 2016.
Saina Enters Second Round of Australian Open
Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal entered the second round of the women's singles but P. V. Sindhu suffered an upset defeat in the opening round to crash out of the USD 750,000 Australian Open Super Series badminton tournament.
