Airtel Buys Aircel's 4G Spectrum
Bharti Airtel will pay Rs. 3,500 crore to acquire rights to use 4G spectrum of Aircel in eight telecom circles.
Bharti Airtel and its subsidiary Bharti Hexacom Ltd entered into a definitive agreement with Aircel Ltd and its subsidiaries Dishnet Wireless Ltd and Aircel Cellular Ltd to acquire rights to use 20 megahertz (MHz)in 2300 band 4G TD spectrum in the eight circles.
These circles are Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Assam, the North-East, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.
A team of scientists has detected a mysterious new state of matter that causes electrons -- thought to be nature's indivisible building blocks -- to break into pieces.

Mamata Banerjee Files Nomination
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee filed her nomination papers for the state Assembly Elections and declared assets worth a little over Rs. 30 lakh.
Banerjee, will contest the Assembly polls from Bhowanipore in south Kolkata.
Congress nominee Deepa Dasmunsi and Chandra Kumar Bose of the Bharatiya Janata Party also filed their nomination papers.
Polling in Bhowanipore will take place on 30th April in the 5th phase.
