ICICI Bank Q3 Net Profit Dips

  • On account of rising bad loans, India's leading private sector bank ICICI Bank Ltd reported a 4.3 percent dip in its consolidated net profit to Rs. 3,122 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2015.
  • On a standalone basis, the bank's net profit rose 4 percent to Rs. 3,018 crore during the third quarter of 2015-16.
  • Its total income on standalone basis during the quarter under review increased to Rs. 17,562.95 crore, from Rs. 15,526.88 crore in the year-ago period.

Indians 3rd Biggest Investor in US Realty Market

  • As per brokerage firm Sotheby's International Realty, Indians are the third biggest international investor community with USD 8 billion investment in the US realty market after Canadians and Chinese.
  • Besides, 25 percent of the international real estate market in London also belongs to Indians with investments around 1 billion pounds while they also invested more than USD 2 billion in the Dubai real estate market in the first half of 2015 only.
