Iraq Gives Turkish Forces 48 hours to Leave Country
Iraq gave Turkey 48 hours to withdraw its forces or face "all available options", including recourse to the UN Security Council.
Baghdad, which is struggling to assert its sovereignty while receiving foreign assistance against the Islamic State jihadist group, said Turkish forces with tanks and artillery entered Iraq without its permission.
Momotomo Volcano Erupts for First Time in a Century
The Momotomo volcano in Nicaragua erupted for the first time since 1905, spitting lava and a huge plume of ash and smoke over nearby Lake Managua.
According to local reports, people began feeling tremors about two weeks ago.
Momotomo has shown some minor seismic activity over the past decade but has otherwise been quiet over the past century. In the early 1600s the volcano had a major eruption that caused the abandonment of the prominent city of Leon Viejo.
Foreign investors continued their selling spree and pulled out more than Rs. 2300 crore from the stock markets in the first week of this month after the US Fed hinted at a rate hike.
The latest sell-off came after Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) withdrew Rs 7,074 crore from the equities last month. Prior to that, overseas investors had made an investment of Rs 6,650 crore in the stock markets in October.
