Opposition candidate Mauricio Macri has won Argentina's presidential election, marking an end to the left-leaning and often combative era of President Cristina Fernandez, who along with her late husband dominated the country's political scene for 12 years.
With 75 per cent of the vote counted, Macri had 53 per cent support compared to 47 per cent for Daniel Scioli.
The victory by the business-friendly Macri comes after he did better than expected in the first round in October, forcing a runoff with Daniel Scioli.
Novak Djokovic defeated Roger Federer to win the ATP Tour Finals title for a record fourth successive year.
Djokovic is the first player in the tournament's history to take home the trophy four years in a row and he joins Pete Sampras and Ivan Lendl on five victories at the season-ending event.
