As per the state election authority, the right-wing and anti-migrant Law and Justice party has won a majority of seats in Poland's parliament and can govern alone.
The party got 235 seats in the 460-seat Lower House of Poland's Parliament and also won a majority in the Senate, the strongest position any single party has ever enjoyed in post-communist Poland.
The Law and Justice party also has the backing of President Andrzej Duda.

eSahyog and PAN camps Launched
Two taxpayer friendly measures, eSahyog and PAN camps, were launched with a view to streamline the taxation procedure.
The e-Sahyog is aimed at reducing compliance cost, especially for small taxpayers. It is to provide an online mechanism to resolve mismatches in I-T returns of taxpayers whose returns have not been selected for scrutiny, without visiting the I-T Office.
The PAN camps are aimed at expanding the coverage of number of people through Permanent Account Number (PAN). While 23 crore PAN card have been issued, only 5 crore people file income tax returns.
Maruti Suzuki Q2 Net Profit Up
Maruti Suzuki India reported a 42.1 percent jump in net profit at Rs. 1,225.56 crore for the September quarter, driven by strong sales growth, lower material cost and favourable foreign exchange.
Net sales of the company rose 13.2 percent to Rs 13,574.8 crore during the second quarter as against Rs 11,996.33 crore during the same period year ago.
During the second quarter, the company sold 3,53,335 vehicles, a growth of 9.8 percent, over 3,21,898 units in the second quarter of 2014-15.
