Greece`s newly-elected Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras unveiled his new government. The finance portfolio was given to Euclid Tsakalotos and the defence to his nationalist coalition ally, the Independent Greeks.
The make-up of the new cabinet was largely a carbon-copy of the outgoing government headed by Tsipras, who resigned in August.
Obama Urges European Allies to Accept Refugees
The US President pressed European nations to take their "fair share" of refugees, after the EU reluctantly reached an agreement designed to halt a destabilizing humanitarian crisis.
The statement is likely to be seen as a warning to Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia who unsuccessfully opposed a deal to relocate 120,000 refugees inside the European Union.
In its biggest ever fine, regulator SEBI imposed a penalty of Rs. 7,269.5 crore on PACL Ltd. and its four directors for illegal and fraudulent mobilisation of funds from the public.
SEBI last year had asked PACL to refund Rs. 49,100 crore it had collected through illicit schemes over a 15-year period.
As per SEBI, PACL made huge illegal mobilisation of money, leading to consequent profit to the tune of over Rs. 2,423 crore in a short span of less than one year.

MP Government to Allot Land for Nuclear Power Project
The Madhya Pradesh government will allot over 41 acres of land to the first nuclear power station in the state, which will be set up in Mandla district.
The 1,400 mega watt (MW) project is being set up in Chutka village.
The Chutka MP Atomic Power Station project had got an in principle approval from the centre five years ago.
India Turns to Israel for Armed Drones
India has accelerated plans to buy drones from Israel that can be armed, allowing the military to carry out strikes overseas with less risk to personnel.
The plan to acquire Israeli Herons was first conceived three years ago, but in January the military asked the government for speedy delivery, as Pakistan and China develop their own drone warfare apabilities.
