US House Urges Obama to Send lethal Arms to Ukraine
American lawmakers voted overwhelmingly to urge President Barack Obama to provide Ukraine with lethal weapons to defend itself against Russian "aggression."
The US House of Representatives approved the resolution in a broadly bipartisan 348-48 vote, heaping further pressure on the Obama administration to end its delays in providing weapons and other heavy military equipment to Kiev forces.
Following reported violations of ceasefires between Ukraine`s government forces and pro-Russian separatist rebels, the White House had earlier this month announced it will deliver a $75-million package of non-lethal defensive equipment to the Ukrainians.

Pakistan held its first Republic Day parade in seven years on Monday, full of flag-waving pomp and aerial military expertise, a symbolic show of strength in the war against the Taliban.
The Pakistan Day parade was held amid tight security. Cellular phone networks were blocked as a precaution to thwart militants, who have often used mobile phone signals to trigger bombs.
No parades had been held since 2008, following an escalation in the military's conflict with the Pakistani Taliban.

Cancelled JSPL and BALCO Mines Given to Coal India
The government has alloted the three cancelled coal blocks, for which JSPL and BALCO had emerged as the highest bidders in the recently concluded auctions, to state-owned miner CIL.
The three coal blocks - Gare Palma IV/1, IV 2 and IV 3 under Schedule II mines (blocks under production) have been alloted to Coal India Ltd.
Total reserves of the three mines amount to 313.68 MT.
Bank of Baroda Cuts Deposit Rates
State-owned Bank of Baroda (BoB) has revised downwards the interest rate for deposits below Rs. 1 crore for a selected maturity bracket.
The Bank has decided to revise rates of interest payable on Domestic Term Deposits & NRO Deposits of below Rs. 1 crore, applicable to fresh deposits and renewal, with effect from March 24, 2015. The applicable rate of interest in the maturity range of 181 to 270 days has been reduced from existing 7.75 per cent to 7.65 per cent.
As per the space agency, India's fourth navigation satellite will be launched on 28th March.
According to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the Indian rocket - Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-XL) - will blast off with the fourth satellite of the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS).
The 1,425 kg satellite is called IRNSS-1D and will be the first satellite to be put into orbit by an Indian rocket in 2015.

Sahara Group Given Three Months Time for Concluding Deal
The Supreme Court granted three months time to Sahara Group for selling its offshore properties for raising Rs. 10,000 crore to ensure the release of its Chief Subrato Roy, who has been in jail for a year for non-refund of over Rs. 20,000 crore to depositors.
A Bench headed by Justice T. S. Thakur gave the time to Sahara for completing the negotiations failing which its properties would be put to auction by appointing a 'court receiver' for alienating its assets.
The apex court had asked 65-year-old Roy, who has been in Tijar Jail since March 4, 2014, to pay Rs. 10,000 crore to get bail, out of which Rs. 5,000 crore should be paid in cash and rest in bank guarantees.
Government Ready for Improvements in Land Bill
As per reports, the NDA government was ready for a nation-wide debate on land acquisition bill and to make improvements if the opposition makes constructive suggestions.
Claiming that it is a pro-farmer and pro-poor Bill, he appealed to all political parties to support the bill as it will accelerate the growth and make farmers part of the developmental process.
Stating that nine amendments were already made in the Bill during the course of discussion in the Lok Sabha, Modi assured that if something is lacking in the Bill, improvements can be made.
