World Leaders Join 'Unity March' to Honour Paris Terror Attack
More than a million people flooded Paris in an unprecedented rally against terrorism, led by dozens of world leaders walking arm in arm as cries of "Freedom" and "Charlie" rang out.

Nasa Satellite to Track Droughts, Boost Flood Warnings
Nasa is launching a new satellite this month that will improve drought monitoring and flood warnings.
The Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) satellite will provide the best maps of soil moisture levels from pole to pole.
This is for the first time that scientists will get a bird's-eye view of drought patterns; for instance, they will watch where droughts begin and end, and how droughts spread across large areas.
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar proposes to come up with an industry friendly policy on defence manufacturing and procurement in 2-3 months, a move aimed at promoting local production and reducing imports.
The Defence Minister said a USD 20 billion import bill for defence was not affordable.
Such a huge import bill has undesirable consequences for the economy, development and unemployment in the country.
The defence manufacturing will get a major thrust in line with 'Make in India' policy.
The ministry would soon be in a position to decide which items should be manufactured in India and gradually that list would be increased over a period of time.
