National Creativity aptitude Test (NCAT) is a national level test for UG & PG Students. NCAT is open for students of engineering, management and science streams in institutes of higher education enrolled in graduate and post-graduate courses. It is a two-round competition.
Round 1 is conducted at the college level and two top performing students of each year from each college qualify for the round 2.
Round 2 is conducted at Delhi.
The Top 15 students from each category (total of 60 students) get a one-week residential course on Creativity and Innovation to help them further to enhance the ability with a focus on entrepreneurial skill.
For round 1, the participants have to answer 100 multiple choice questions in 120 minutes. An additional 10 minutes will be given to the participants for filling up the information on the OMR answer sheet.
For round 2, the participants have to answer 60 multiple choice questions with subjective questions on creativity and an activity to assess the achievement motivation of the student.
