Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneshwar invites applications for admission to Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
XIMB offers admission to the following AICTE approved programmes for the year 2013:
- Two-Year Full-Time Programme for Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
- Two-Year Full-Time Programme for Postgraduate Diploma in Management (HRM) [PGDM-HRM]
- Two-Year Full-Time Programme for Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDM-RM)
The last date to fill up the application form is 26th November, 2012.
Eligibility Criteria: Minimum three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, with at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university/deemed university. Final year degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June 15, 2013, can also apply.
Admission Test:
Apply and appear for any one of the following written tests:
1) IRMA written test to be conducted by Institute of Rural Management Anand on 11th November 2012,
OR
2) XAT to be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on 6th January 2013,
OR
3) CAT to be conducted by IIMs during 11th October – 6th November 2012.
Applicants are required to follow the IRMA/XAT/CAT advertisements respectively and apply in time.
(*) Registering for IRMA or XAT or CAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB's PGDM-RM programme.
Selection Process:
Candidates short-listed on the basis of written test (XAT or CAT) scores will be called for Writing Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai. Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses for attending the interview session.
The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the written test, Writing Ability Test, the Group Discussion & Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.
