STENOGRAPHERS (Grade 'C' & 'D') Examination, 2012

Staff Selection Commission will conduct a Combined All India Open Examination for the posts of Stenographers (Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’) under the Central Government.
Important Dates:
Release date for receipt of applications 28th April, 2012
Last date for receipt of applications       25th May, 2012 (upto 5 P.M.)
Last date for receipt of applications from far flung areas 1st,June, 2012
Date of examination 29th July, 2012

Important Dates to apply Online:
Part-I Registration 23rd April, 2012
Part-II Registration 25th May, 2012

Candidates have to submit the basic details to the Part-I registration. SSC Stenographer online application will be incomplete without part-II registration. Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Applicant should have passed 12th Standard from a recognized board/ University. The candidates should have good typing skills get more preference. Age Limit (As on 1st Aug, 2012):
Minimum age 18 Years
Maximum age 27 Years

 Age Relaxation applies as per Govt. rules….
Pay Scale:
For Grade-C PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600/-
For Grade-D PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

Application Fee:
For General Rs 100/-
ExSM Nil

The candidates should pay the fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)”only. CRFS are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country.
The candidates submitting their SSC Stenographer 2012 applications online should pay the requisite fee only through SBI either in the form of Challan or net-banking.
