          Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a recruitment notification for various vacancies of Stenographer (Grade C and D) in Ministries/Departments of Central Government. Interested candidates may check the eligibility criteria and apply online from 19-06-2017 to 15-07-2017.

          •Post Name: Stenographer (Grade C and D)
          •No. of Vacancies: To Be Declared
          •Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800
          Job Location: All India
          Eligibility Criteria for SSC Recruitment-2017:
          Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognised board or university.
          Age Limit (as on 01-08-2017): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years
          Age Relaxation:
          Sr. No. Category of Candidates Relaxation of Age Permissible
          1. SC/ST Candidates 5 years
          2. OBC Candidates 3 years
          3. Ex-Servicemen 5 years
          4. PH Candidates 10 years
          5. Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989 5 years
          6. Widows/Divorced Women/Women Judicially Separated and who are not remarried 7 years
          Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the Computer Based Examination, Computer Proficiency Test and Descriptive Test.
          Application Fee: General, OBC and UR Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- through SBI Challan, net-banking, or credit/debit card. SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PH and Women Candidates are exempted from paying any fee.
          How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through SSC website "http://ssc.nic.in" from 19-06-2017 to 15-07-2017.
