Eligibility Criteria for SAIL Recruitment:
Educational Qualification:

• For Operator-cum-Technician: Matriculation and 3 year full time Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Electrical/Instrumentation/Chemical disciplines from a Govt. recognized Institute with minimum 50% marks.
• For Attendant-cum-Technician: Matriculation and ITI in Fitter/Electrician trades from a recognised Institute or Matriculation with heavy duty vehicle driving licence and having at least one year experience in operation of dumpers and dozers, etc.
• For Specialist/Medical Officer: MBBS with MD/MS or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from a University/Institute and with at least 3 year post qualification experience after MD/MS.
Age Limit (as on 05-08-2016):
• For Operator-cum-Technician and Attendant-cum-Technician: 28 years
• For Specialist/Medical Officer: 37 years/30 years
Age Relaxation:
• For SC/ST candidates: 05 years
• For OBC candidates: 03 years
